The prophet Joel has said:
“And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams: Yea and on My servants and on My handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy” (Acts 2:17-18).
As usual we bless one another and God during the day. It is very important for our life to be filled with God and everything what is from Him – love, kindness, fountains of living water, what is the Holy Spirit. Then special prayer and blessings come. Let’s remember the moment when Jesus appeared before the disciples and then He ascended into Heaven. But before ascending He commanded them to wait for the promised – the forth of the Holy Spirit.
“And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4)”.
The disciples had experienced something special, something that they have never felt before in their life. Earlier they were together with Jesus, they saw the wonders, but they have never felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. They felt Him at the moment when the Holy Spirit was poured upon them. They began to speak with other tongues.
“Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is nigh unto Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey off. And when they were come in, they went up into the upper chamber, where they were abiding; both Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James (the son) of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas (the son) of James. These all with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren (Acts 1:12-14)”.
What has been happening in the life of disciples? They were praying unanimously in the church. They were seeking God and they worshipped Him. They received the promised from God. We have to gather in the church, to pray, to worship Jesus Christ and it will be a great blessing to us. When a Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit, then he can witness about God with daring. But without the Holy Spirit we can not be the witnesses of Jesus Christ, because there will be no force.
“Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise (Ephes. 5:15)”.
Morning Prayer is the power and blessing for the whole day. We are to have our personal prayer and also the regular visit to the church for us to be with people of God and to unite with them in prayers. The time is given to fulfill the will of God and to be filled with His blessings. Take care of the time that you spend – many hours are spent on everyday fuss and this world. Apostle Paul says: “Be filled with the Holy Spirit” – this is our purpose today.

3 August. Morning Service.

“And when they came unto the place which is called The skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left. And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots (Luke 23:33-34)”.
Different people were standing and looking at Jesus on Golgotha. The Scripture opens us one of the side of people’s life and God: there are people who do not know what they are doing but there are also people who know what they are doing. Paul wrote about himself: “though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief (1 Tim. 1:13)”. He was a blasphemer before but Jesus has revealed to him, and he followed Christ. The Scripture also speaks about people to whom God was revealed, who obtained mercy from God. God is merciful to them but they again crucify Him. Jesus has prayed for those who crucified Him. He said: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”.
It is very important to understand the prayer of Jesus for those who do not know what they do. God prays for them and He is ready to accept a sinner. Jesus has suffered for us and He gave us the opportunity to have the eternal life. He has died for our sins. God gives us eternity. One man said: “The purpose of a man here on the Earth is to prepare to the eternity”. When problems appear in your life, do not think that God has left you. God has purpose – He wants to make you ready to eternity. Remember God gives glory to those who trust Him.
The Scripture tells us that God will give us something in His Kingdom and it is more magnificent then we fulfill here on the Earth. It is hard to understand what God will prepare for those who are faithful to Him on the Earth. But we know that will live, serve Him and we will come in His Kingdom.
God makes us ready to eternity. He waits from Him people gratitude and He does not want us to grumble. We have to remember that everything what He prepares for us is made for our good.
You have to trust the Lord and to accept all trials which you receive in your way. This is honor for us to be tested in our life, because we trust our lives in the hands of our God.
God opens to us in His Scripture the Kingdom of God and what we will have if we are faithful. You have to remember that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is powerful to forgive you your sins and is powerful to save you. God is ready to give you new life. God calls you to repentance; He wants to change your heart.
We have time to prepare to eternity today.
